This is a very popular tour program since long time ago of Halong bay 1 day tour. You will have 4 hours on boat including visiting small cave (Heaven Palace cave means "động Thiên Cung), floating village and kayaking or bamboo boat activity.

8.00 - 8.30: Get picked up from the hotel. It takes 3.5 hour by bus to Ha Long city.
10.30: Have a break on the way for about 20 minutes.
12.00: Arrive in Ha Long city, get on boat.
12.30: Have lunch in the restaurant on boat. Then take a boat trip about 4hrs journey. Cruise through the emerald waters between the limestone outcrops and long corridors, visit Thien Cung cave (the cave of the heavenly palace - famous for its stalagmites and stalactites) the cave has only opened to the public since 1998. A short way and pass the newly discovered Dau Go grotto (wooden stake cave-where in 1288 one of Vietnamese most famous Generals Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongol army). Being different from the above option, Halong bay 1 day tour - 6 hours boat trip has a longer time on boat, visiting the biggest cave on Halong bay name Amazing cave (or called Sung Sot cave), trekking to Titop island, swiming and kayaking. This is very similar of the routine of Halong bay tour 2 days 1 night, but you will have to depart earlier from Hanoi and come back later than the 4 hours boat trip tour.

07h15 - 07h40: Pick up at your Hotel (around the old quarter) and start the trip with 3,5 hours to Ha Long bay, short break half way about 20 minutes.
